Am exhausted and happy

I have done so much planting and growing in the past week I physically had to roll off the bed this morning as my back is so stiff.

Garden looking amazing and I hope to get a few pics later to show you all. Yesterday was lovely and warm and I spent 8 hours in the garden. Today is much colder and windy so dont think I will spend too much time outside. I will have plenty of time to plant some more seeds and read up on veggies....

As promised her are some piccies - enjoy!

Happy Days

Up and at them by 8am and in the garden with a cup of tea with the kitties by 8.10am.

Had a potter round the garden and pulled up old bulbs from a few tubs which I can use for planting veggies - I am going to store the bulbs and plant them out at the end of the year.

Went out for lunch with my gorgeous friend Kimmie after having a mooch round a garden center!!

Ended up at The Barge in Maidstone - didn't even know it existed. We were the only ones there and it is a little expensive but the food was fab. I had beer battered smoked haddock with pea puree and chips and Kimmie had Kentish steak strips with sauteed potatoes!

No pictures today but I am sure there will be loads tomorrow!

I want to be a veg farmer!

Woke up this morning and the BBC said the weather was going to be dry this weekend - YIPPEE!

Booked a half days annual leave and left the office at 1.15pm,bought a new lawn mower and more tubs and compost.

Put the the new lawn mower together, the hardest part was the easiest part so to speak - the grass cutting holder - nearly put it in the bin!

Wow the grass is cut so close that the guinea pigs next door will be eating it for weeks!

Spent 4 hours in the garden and it looks fab and hoping I can spend the whole weekend in the garden one way or the other ..

Here are some pics ....
