The 4 day week..

Tuesday

Well the first of 4 working days this week is over and to be honest it wasn't that bad. Not happy that the weekend was a wash out and today was lovely - NOT FAIR!

Have checked on all the plants and seedling and the original Chard have decided to make an appearance but the peppers still haven't joined the party - how rude!

Decided I am going to try my hand at making homemade mushroom ravioli tonight so watch this space for the photo update later ...

7.20pm..here is the freshly homemade mushroom and cream cheese ravioli BEFORE it gets cooked.

I am a ickle bit scared as if I have left any air bubbles in them they will explode and the filling will escape in the water - yuck.

Now to make the sage and butter sauce - yum!!

ok so they dont look the best but none of them exploded and they tasted glorious! - happy days

Wednesday

Day 2 of the 4 day week done and gain it was all good in the hood! 

Got home tonight to find some of the seedlings I planted on Sunday (3 days ago) have broken through, I am stunned that it only took that long - isn't nature amazing.Pak Choi and Radish made it through - gawd bless the ickle fings!

Thought I would revisit the ravioli tonight so here is the sausage ravioli pre-cooking. Will let you know how it tastes with the creamy mushroom sauce which is cooking now!

So here is the final dish..... tasted very good although I need to work on the size and thickness - just minor refinements me thinks..!

Well day 3 of the 4 day week is over and again it was painless - something going on here, fingers crossed for tomorrow.

Lots of seedlings have broken through and all I pray for is a rain free weekend PLEASE!
